New Serious Competitor Electric Car for Tesla

One more electric car from the manufacturer from the United States will enliven the automotive world. This time the vehicle without emissions was carried by a legendary brand under General Motors (GM), Cadillac.

Through the North American International Auto Show, Cadillac will introduce its first electric vehicle. Not kidding, this prospective challenger car Tesla is rumored to be able to run up to 482 km in a single battery charge.

"We will continue to press the ability of this car to exceed 300 miles (482 km). Because conventional cars can be driven up to 643 km. That's what people expect," said Cadillac President Steve Carlisle as reported by carscoops.

So, with this discourse Cadillac will be a strong contender for automotive manufacturers who are developing electric cars. Including Tesla with the new Model X 100D which has a cruising range of 474 km.

But Carlisle is still closing the meeting regarding the specifications of the electric crossover. What is clear, the car will not be introduced in the near future. If only, it would take up to 3 years for Cadillac.

"Three years is a realistic time," he explained.

With that long time, Carlisle revealed that loyal customers would not be disappointed with the Cadillac list later.
