At the Los Angeles Motor Show Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 presented the Spyder convertible version of the super sports car rear-wheel drive, previously available only with four-wheel drive.

The engine is the familiar 5.2-liter V10 naturally aspirated and 550 hp, thanks to the car's weight of just 1,520 kg, the Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 319 km / h. Compared to the version with four-wheel drive, the Spyder takes 0.2 seconds longer to reach the mark of 100 km / h in terms of speed lost 5 km / h. On the other hand, however, you can reduce fuel consumption from 15 liters to 14.8 liters.
To control the power, was introduced at the rear differential mechanical limited slip up to 45%, the exchange rate and electro-gear with steering wheel controls and the ESP stability control system re-calibrated according to the new features of the car, with a specific Race mode.
With the Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder, Lamborghini adds another amazing model to its line of more successful. It also includes the LP 560-4 Spyder and Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder-performance, high performance, which boasts a further weight reduction through the use of engineering lightweight carbon fiber.
